RAOB: Sounding Stations

An ASCII (text) file containing all currently cataloged (active and historical) sounding stations worldwide. The RAOB.STN file is located in the RAOB program folder (directory).

It is used by the RAOB program to identify sounding stations for a wide variety of purposes. This file is periodically updated and edited. This file was last changed: 31 August 2020. NOTE: this locator file will only work with RAOB 5.5 and later versions.
