RAOB: Sounding Stations

An ASCII (text) file containing all currently cataloged (active and historical) sounding stations worldwide.

It is used by the RAOB program to identify sounding stations for a wide variety of purposes. This file is periodically updated and edited. This file was last changed: March 28, 2010. NOTE: this locator file will only work with RAOB 5.5 and later versions.

NOTE: The '.txt.' extension must be removed and the file must be saved as RAOB.STN
