RAOB Email Notice for GMAIL Users.  It seems that for some GMAIL users, my "wxx@raob.com" emails end up in Spam Folders.  So, if you want to ensure receipt of direct RAOB correspondence and special program sale notices, you will then need to configure your Gmail account to unblock "wxx@raob.com" emails.  See this short video explaining how to fix this problem.  Only GMAIL users are having this problem, while all other email services are operating normally.  Note ... all RAOB Newsletters (like this one) are sent from a different source -- a ListServe service.

For RAOB 6.8 users.  The latest version contains serial numbers beginning with 6857, so if the first 4 digits of your RAOB serial number are less, you should download the latest program update using RAOB's Help menu (RAOB Program Updates) for the download link, or just use this direct link.

RAOB Customer Corner.  The RAOB Program can create parcel lift profiles with and without Virtual temperature correction.  This University of Oklahoma study uses the "virtual correction" option.

RAOB Beta.  The Binary Module's BUFR Decoder can now process NCEI (NCDC) 1-Second data archives.  The Standard Encoders module now includes a GSD (aka FSL) Data Encoder.  If you want to use the RAOB 6.9 Beta program now, or are not sure of your eligibility, just contact wxx@raob.com and provide your RAOB serial number.  Use this link to view the complete list of RAOB Beta enhancements.
